Poor Dog Is Brought To Hospital To Say Goodbye To Its Dying Human

- Không có nhận xét nào

When a 33-year-old Ryan Jessen suddenly passed away from brain hemorrhage last month, hospital staff showed a very unexpected gesture. “The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother’s dog in to ‘say goodbye’ so she’d know why her human never came home. If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog,” Ryan’s sister Michelle wrote on her Facebook page.

While the video capturing the tender moment between Ryan and his dog Molly was intended for the family circle, it got a response from all over the world. “We are sincerely touched and humbled by others’ stories, their sharing in our sadness and the kindness of so many people,” Michelle writes.
Ryan’s sister was quick to reassure that Molly the grieving dog is in good hands: “Don’t worry about the dog! We’re keeping her!!! She’s part of the family.” Michelle also added that Ryan’s donor heart is about to save the life of a 17-year-old, just in time for Christmas.

Devoted Dog Stays by Trapped Friend’s Side for a Week as They Await Rescue

- Không có nhận xét nào
One brave pooch is being hailed a hero after sticking by her friend’s side for an entire week while they waited for help.

Tilly, a Setter mix, and Phoebe, a Basset Hound, went missing one day and no one had a clue where they ventured off to. It wasn’t until a man spotted a dog wandering into his yard daily that those who would engineer Tilly and Phoebe’s rescue got their first clue.

When the man tried to get near the dog, she would run off into a nearby ravine. With this information, the rescuers went to the ravine and discovered Tilly.
At first it was unclear why Tilly would be sitting alone in a wooded area.

After a second look it was crystal clear what Tilly’s intentions were.

The Setter mix wasn’t hanging out in the ravine by herself; she was waiting by her friend Phoebe’s side. Phoebe had fallen into cement water reservoir and needed help to get out.

Each time Tilly went into the man’s backyard she was desperately trying to get help for her friend.

Once rescuers recognized Phoebe’s predicament they sprang into action and helped the pup up from her unfortunate situation. The two were later reunited with their loved ones and probably won’t be taking a stroll through the ravine anytime soon.

Dogs saying “peek-a-boo” from under, over, around, and straight through

- Không có nhận xét nào
Here is a list of 20 dogs saying “Hello!” from the other side of the fence.

From a dog’s point of view, fences are not barriers like they are to humans—just the opposite. To a dog, fences are a multiplicity of doors and windows in sequence, and every gap is just another opportunity. Under, over, around or straight through. It’s only a matter of “how” not “if” or “when”. To a dog, it’s what’s on the other side that matters, and how to get there is just a matter of commitment. As far as getting back… that’s another story. Here is a list of 20 photos depicting the ways dogs say, “peek-a-boo” from the other side.

1. If there is a gap, it will be exploited.

Sneaky Dog Face-Plants Cat Into Snow In Not-So Purrfect Start To Winter

In the age-old battle between cats and dogs, anything goes — including making your opponent eat snow.

A cat named Kiwi was filmed getting shoved face first into the white stuff by a bouncing German Shepherd that appeared to delight in her sneaky feat before bounding away.

LINDSAY ROY-BERNATCHEZKatniss the dog was filmed slapping her frenemy, Kiwi the cat, into the snow face first while playing outside.

The hilarious video shot in Canada and posted to Facebook last week shows Kiwi already appearing not too crazy about all the cold snow surrounding her. Her four-legged frenemy Katniss, on the other hand, appears positively excited by the crisp, fresh air.

Here’s hoping Kiwi is the forgiving type and she’s nothing like this cat because Katniss, you have it coming.

"It's always best to wait until the animal is relaxed -- don't chase or rile her up. For instance, I like to photograph my cat just after his nap."
-- Lars Topelmann

"Always have your camera or phone handy because you never know when your pet will do something adorable. Spontaneous moments are just that -- spontaneous!"
-- Shaina Fishman

"I like to get down on the dog's level and hang out with her so she can check out the camera and see that it's not a threat -- plus you get great shots that way!"
-- Jeff Moore

"Limit distractions and pick a quiet location. (Don't take your pet to a park with tons of kids playing and expect her to pay attention!)"
-- Tiffany Holman

"To get him to look at the camera, ask questions. Anything will do -- it's all about the tone of your voice. Treats can backfire unless the pet is really well trained."
-- Danielle Moss

"With cats I do try food. Let her smell it and then hold it just above the lens so she's looking right into the camera for your shot."
-- Jim Dratfield
